v0.1.4-beta Current
September 2026 · public beta
This is the version served from the download page. Product pages live at horizon-labs.io/cora.
What’s new
- Optional local AI enrichment runs on your machine after the normal index.
- A product scope beacon helps agents stay aligned with your documented goals and non-goals.
- Change briefs can flag work that looks outside the plan — as guidance, not a block.
- Enrichment is faster with the updated local model; first download may still take a while.
Upgrade
- Install or upgrade to
v0.1.4-beta via the Horizon Labs download flow.
- Allow Docker to pull the updated images (first enrichment download may take a while).
- Run a refresh in your project, then reload MCP in your editor.
v0.1.3-beta
September 2026 · public beta · superseded
Superseded by v0.1.4-beta. Product pages live at horizon-labs.io/cora.
What’s new
- Change briefs: Ask for
cora_change_brief with your change request and target file. You get a structured narrative (impact, validation, unknowns) plus graph-backed enrichment summaries.
- Local enrichment: With
ai.provider: local, CORA builds file guidance from the dependency graph during refresh/index — no separate enrich container required for day-to-day Cursor use.
- Better search: Queries like “mcp gate registry” prefer MCP enforcement code over unrelated auth/registry files. Search results include ranking scores and deduplicated paths.
- Safer containers: Runtime image upgraded to Alpine 3.23 (patched SQLite, no vulnerable curl in
cora-core). Hardened runtime: read-only root, dropped capabilities, pip removed from final layer.
Upgrade
- Use v0.1.4-beta for new installs.
v0.1.2-beta
August 2026 · public beta · superseded
This is the version served from the download page. Product pages live at horizon-labs.io/cora.
What’s new
- Clearer project context for your editor: search focuses on the source that matters, change impact and patch plans work better from a file path alone (including bug-fix style work), and Go projects get richer file context from imports.
- CORA confirms your Horizon Labs sign-in online before the MCP server starts. Stay signed in and online when you first enable or restart CORA after an upgrade.
- More reliable install and sign-in, and more consistent MCP reconnect after a stop.
- Product, docs, and download are at horizon-labs.io/cora.
